About

Introducing: a passionate reader & writer with a love for cappuccino and a strong dislike for red smarties, who rants and raves about fictional worlds and the writing process instead of, you know, actually writing.

Hi, hello and welcome!

I’m ReRe, a passionate reader & writer with too many ideas and opinions and a bad habit of procrastinating when it comes to putting an actual story on paper. Digital paper, that is.

After two years of hanging in there during a global pandemic, I’ve rediscovered this site (which I created 4 years ago — go, past me!) and decided to give blogging another shot for the coming year.

Wish me luck. I’m gonna need it.

justnoredsmarties is my baby, my friend, my diary, and quite possibly the most time-consuming hobby I have. It’s a place where I share my thoughts and opinions and where I record my experiences and memories. Most of all, it’s an empty space, created solely so I can fill it with words.

But let’s get to the part you truly care about, shall we?

Why are you here? Probably because you have the unfortunate luck to know me personally and I’ve annoyed and/or begged you to give this blog a chance. I’d apologise, but clearly it worked, so I suppose my methods speak for themselves.

What will you find here? The opinions, advice and occasional rants of a stubborn, sarcastic person with a lot to say. I’m currently experimenting and don’t want to tie myself to a specific topic, but recurring themes will likely be writing in general, fictional worlds, fandom life and the occasional real life happenings. Heated discussions concerning the in-universe logic of fictional worlds, movie references and travel diaries may also be included. Plus my love for cappuccino. Can’t forget about that.

Why should you check this blog out? Well. You’ve made it this far into my rambling, which tells me I either amuse you or you’re driven by a morbid sort of curiosity. So why not indulge those feelings while they last? What’s the worst that could happen? You might even catch yourself smiling at my jokes and possibly trip so unfortunately over your own two feet that you accidentally press the “follow” button…

Hey, it could happen.

Good luck, have fun, and I hope to see you again!

Yours,
ReRe
